The Maze Coffee Shop is and enticing café located in the heart of Saffron Walden, with a warm and cosy interior, but which fails to deliver customer satisfaction. The service is lacklustre and cold and the food is little better than canteen fare. The lentil soup on offer was brought out within minutes and the quality was reminiscent of the canned variety. The place becomes a Turkish restaurant by night and perhaps that is where the specialities lie. The actually café is really nice and with a little work it could become a great place to escape the winter chill, but for now you best searching out one of the tastier options.
